- Specialty color temperatures. If you need a specific CCT like 2200K for a hospitality vibe, check availability carefully—standard product lines cover common temperatures well, but exact matches may require a specialty supplier.
- High-bay industrial spaces. For warehouse aisles at 30 feet, you need purpose-built high-bay fixtures.
Also, Legrand's Zigbee-enabled products are excellent if you're building a Zigbee ecosystem. But if you've standardized on a different protocol, don't force it. Interoperability matters more than brand loyalty, and no protocol is universally "better" than the others.
The Bottom Line: What I'd Order Right Now
If I were equipping a new office today, here's my list:
- Legrand occupancy sensors in every conference room, restroom, and private office
- Legrand undercabinet light bars for kitchen and utility areas
- One carefully selected remote spotlight if you have artwork or signage worth highlighting
